Every Friday we share a real story lived by RM Yachts owners.
Today, it’s about « Pikou Rouz », an RM1050 built in 2008. Her owners are a couple from Brittany.
Together, they’ve visited Sweden, Finland, Scotland, Ireland and recently the Azores archipelago.
They frequently share their on-board short-handed experience.
“After a 2018 cruising which lead us to Sweden and the Netherlands canals, we are now heading toward the Baltic sea. This includes Finland, Estonia, Denmark, Germany and the west coast of Sweden again, to haul Pikou Rouz out in Göteborg. Roughly 1,500NM in total”.
Have a look at the whole story around the Baltic sea, their stop-overs, the passage planning, the weather conditions, the canal locks they went through, the various bridges types they passed, not to mention the other RM Yachts they encountered: Spirit of Golang in Yarmouth (RM1260), Sylvie (RM1200) in Bembridge Harbor and in Brighton, and Blackbird (RM1070) in Stockholm.
