Every Friday we share an owner story. This week we make a slight change in our habits by sharing the feedback of a charter experience. The sailing club of polytechnics school rented Virgo, an RM1180, from Lorient-based Iloria Bretagne rental company.

« Just sharing our feedback of our incredible week-end spent on Virgo. Weather conditions were just perfect, as we made a nice cruise between Lorient and Glenan archipelago.

The RM1180 is a great yacht combining performance and comfort. Her racy look is attractive and her planning hull offers an impressive stability and power unders all points of sail.

Easy to manouver, she has surprised us with her ability to reach double-digit speed, with her staysail and gennaker. We often matched TWS and SOG.

Her spacious interior welcome 18 of us ( ! ) for a drink in great comfort without feeling cramped. Kudos for the forecabin, which definitely looks like the one of a 45-footer rather than her 39ft.

We will definitely rent her again soon.

In the meantime, we have asked to visit the shipyard in La Rochelle !
