The good news is that you will still benefit from quality when acquiring a used RM. Why? Because we observe that most of RM owners do take care of their yachts! A well-maintained second-hand cruising yacht could be the best option for your blue water cruising plans! Or any of your plans, actually (coastal cruising, world travel, etc.).
A subsidiary of Grand Large Yachting group – just like RM Yachts – GLS (Grand Large Services) is a company specialized in the services dedicated to RM owners, should it be brand-new or second-hand sailboats. Not only their expert team knows RM yachts in-and-out, and will be able to help you find your dream liveaboard sailing yacht, but they will also be helpful when it comes to maintenance and/or refit: spare parts, options to be added, etc.

Ce beau RM 1180, suite à une fortune de mer, a bénéficié d'un refit significatif au chantier RM et vous est donc proposé aujourd'hui dans un état exceptionnel.
Le RM1180 est une des dernières carènes dessinées par l’architecte Marc Lombard pour notre chantier. Fortement inspiré des voiliers de course au large, il en reprend les codes esthétiques, mais également les avantages dynamiques :
- Une carène avec beaucoup de volume à l’avant et un brion surélevé, pour un départ au planning plus rapide.
- Un tableau arrière élargi et des bouchains vifs, pour une plus grande stabilité et une puissance optimale.
- Une tonture inversée et des hiloires sans décrochage, qui lui confèrent cette ligne extrêmement fluide.
C’est donc sans surprise que le RM1180 a été élu « Voilier de l’Année 2020 » par le mensuel Voile Magazine
Coté aménagements et confort de vie, ce RM 1180 dispose de trois cabines, deux cabines arrière et la cabine propriétaire à l’avant. Le carré baigné de clarté, offre une vision panoramique à 180° avec les grands hublots de coque latéraux et la grande cuisine en U déportée à bâbord accueille deux réfrigérateurs en tiroir et une position idéale pour cuisiner en navigation. Il en résulte une impression de confort dégagée par cet aménagement intérieur moderne et unique pour un voilier de cette taille.
Coté performances, le RM 1180 avec ses mensurations et ses lignes d'eau tendues promet des vitesses à 2 chiffres sans trop forcer sur la machine. Habillé d'un bon équipement hauturier comme une trinquette sur enrouleur et de belles voiles de portant, le RM 1180 se destine naturellement pour un programme vers les Caraïbes ou un tour de l'Atlantique !Ce bel exemplaire de RM 1180 OXO est donc d’une version mono quille bi safran équipée Performance avec mât carbone.
Du côté des voiles : Grand Voile full Baten (2019) membrane DS Kevlar Tafetas, Génois sur enrouleur (2019) DS Kevlar Tafetas, Gennaker stormlight sur emmagasineur et trinquette Azur Voiles en mylar (2022).
Il s’agit donc d’un bateau à la fois très confortable et très rapide. Le moteur Volvo D-50 totalise moins de 500 heures et a été régulièrement entretenu. Rare sur le marché. Prêt à larguer les amarres !!

This beautiful RM 1180, following a fortune at sea, has benefited from a significant refit at the RM shipyard and is therefore offered to you today in exceptional condition.
The RM 1180 is still signed by the naval architectural firm Marc Lombard. She incorporates an inverted bow, an out-end and a completely redesigned cockpit with a very safe central rear balcony.
In terms of facilities and living comfort, this RM 1180 is a 3-cabin version, two aft cabin and the front owner cabin. The square bathed in clarity, offers a 180° panoramic view with the addition of large side hull portholes and the large U-shaped galley deported to port welcomes two refrigerators in drawers and an ideal position for cooking while sailing. The result is an impression of comfort given by this modern and unique interior design for a sailboat of this size.
On the performance side, this RM 1180 with her measurements and taut water lines promises 2-digit speeds without forcing too much on the machine. Dressed in good offshore equipment such as a toast on a reel and beautiful bearing sails, the RM 1180 is naturally intended for a program to the Caribbean or a tour of the Atlantic!
